In an emergency meeting Thursday morning, the Frankfort/Clinton County Airport Authority Board approved a contract for $177,000 with Skiles Electric to help fix the electrial situation at the Nidec Motors building. Airport Authority Board President Alan Dunn said this will allow to get power from the outside power source into the building and distributed to the main transformer boxes on the inside. More importantly, Dunn said this allows them to get heat into the building and they can be ready for winter. Dunn added the tentative agreement between the board and Centurion Solutions to purchase the building is still moving forward.
